Name Of My Non-Profit Organization: Amber Alert 2010 Amber Alert 2010's Tagline: "A Voice For The Missing" About The CEO & Founder: My name is John Anson and I am the founder and CEO of Amber Alert 2010. In 2010, I felt a calling from the Lord to do my part in getting the word out for the missing. Media coverage and getting the word out about missing persons and their photos out there is a necessity, not a luxury. There are so many missing persons that do not get the media coverage needed. It is important to get them found quicker and before harm comes to them if at all possible. So, I answered the call from the Lord and founded Amber Alert 2010, my nonprofit organization. IN THE YEAR 2010 I WAS CALLED TO DO GODS WORK AFTER HAVING SEEN AND HEARD ABOUT A CASE THAT WAS A REAL TRAGEDY AND SINCE THEN I HAVE BEEN DOING WHAT THE LORD CALLED ME TO DO FOR HIM DOWN HERE ON EARTH. YOU MAY ASK, WHAT DOES AMBER ALERT 2010 DO? 1. As an official affiliate of Amber Alert Internet Radio Broadcast Network, we receive alerts of missing persons and we post those to our Amber Alert 2010 Facebook pages. We have several pages all broken down by age groups, which specifically are: a. AmberAlert2010 [Birth – 12 yrs. old] b. AmberAlert2010 Missing Teens [13-19 yrs. old] c. AmberAlert2010-Missing Young Adults [20-49 yrs. old] d. AmberAlert2010 Missing Older Adults [50-64 yrs. old] e. AmberAlert2010 Senior Citizens Missing [65 yrs. old and up] f. AmberAlert2010 Endangered Runaways [children – teens] g. AmberAlert2010 Found 2. Then on Thursdays we: a. Go through each page’s postings for that week and run searches on each one that we have not already received an update on from our RSS feeds of the missing. We search for news updates on how the case is going, if there is any new information to report, or if that person has been located. If located, then we move them to the AmberAlert2010 Found page with the details or link to the news story; b. We create many cam size graphics of each of the missing for the week for us to show on the live broadcast on Saturday and then we upload the photos and information about each case to our AmberAlert2010 Support Pages, which are broken down by the same age categories as our Facebook pages are. The Support Pages are what we read off of to give the public the info on each case during our live broadcast. 3. Saturday morning about 3 hours before our live broadcast airs from 1 pm to 6 pm (CST) we do another quick search of each name of the missing to see if there are any last minute updates. This is to make sure we have the latest on each case to report on our live show. Also, daily we monitor our missing persons alert feeds and post updates throughout the week.
